JdC Garden Trends 2026: standing out.

A fresh momentum, a new schedule and new horizons: the key European meeting point for garden professionals expands its scope and confirms its role as a trendsetter.

The 22nd edition of JdC Garden Trends marks a milestone in its consolidation as the leading reference event for the garden distribution market. From 24 to 26 March 2026, at Parc Chanot in Marseille, the trade show is taking a new turn by broadening its European reach and offering the plant sector a dedicated showcase. Organised by Infopro Digital, this professional event remains a privileged meeting point for DIY and garden distribution decisionmakers, scheduled at the ideal time for year N+1 listings.

This is a trade fair that stands out in many ways notably :

A Europe-wide trade fair

By mobilising the largest selection of European suppliers, the show asserts its European leadership in the gardening segment. With over 97% European exhibitors across all categories, visitors can rely on immediately operational, EU-compliant product ranges.
These opportunities are now extended to a wider range of operators, not only French buyers. European retail buyers are invited to discover more than 1,000 European brands, helping them diversify their sourcing while finding their key reference brands.
Beyond retail chains and buying groups, these opportunities also address independent garden centres, horticulturists and nurseries, enabling them to access complementary offerings and strengthen their competitive differentiation.

Plants at the heart of the ecosystem

In 2026, the show introduces a new area: the “Green Zone”, dedicated to indoor and outdoor plants to better meet buyer expectations.
A redesigned layout makes this plant hub a central anchor for all manufactured product categories: irrigation, pots and containers, substrates, furniture, decoration…

Trend insights

The event reflects market developments and future trends through a selection of flagship products and a full programme of forward-looking conferences.

GARDEN COLLECTIONS AWARDS

At the entrance, visitors discover the nominated products, an exclusive selection highlighting innovative products that reflect evolving consumer expectations. The awards ceremony, formerly the “Prix des Collections Jardin,” will take place on Tuesday in the Hall 1 conference area. Juries composed of retail buyers select winners in six categories, including a new award for independent garden centres:

  • Garden decoration & furniture: J'DEA
  • Home growing in the garden : GAMM VERT
  • Responsible & smart gardening : LEROY MERLIN
  • Outdoor cooking : ESPRIT BARBECUE / AUCHAN
  • Authentic and practical : INEDIS
  • NEW Award for independent garden centres : JARDINERIE TARNAISE, BONCAP

All visitors and journalists may also vote, with winners announced after the event.

To stimulate discovery and discussion around current and future issues in gardening, the show also offers a programme of conferences, one of which is particularly popular every year: The statistical analysis of the gardening market sheds light on purchasing behaviour, segment trends and consumer concerns, hosted by GfK NIQ.

New this year: Manuel Rucar (Chlorosphère) will lead guided trend tours in French and English, highlighting innovations in gardening, outdoor living and decoration, including climatic, economic and aesthetic considerations.

A trade show focused on the essentials

To optimise the buyer experience, doors will now open at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, earlier than in previous years. This extended schedule smooths visitor flow and encourages meetings from the first half-day.
With exhibitors from all over Europe and qualified buyer-visitors, JdC Garden Trends maintains its DNA: a selective, professional and resultsoriented event.

Its renewed European and plant-focused positioning aligns with major consumption shifts: relocalisation, sustainability, accessibility, and the reinvention of the garden as a space for living and projecting into the future.
