Distribution and plants

Every year for the past 5 years, the Guide des Consommateurs Jardin has analyzed garden consumption. For this conference, the authors invite you to take a closer look at the presence and future of plants in the retail sector. Will garden centres continue to sell plants? How can plant prices be managed in the face of competition? Will growers continue to develop direct sales? and many other questions besides! An opportunity to share and exchange ideas about plants, the driving force behind our market.

A key trend for 2025

At the entrance of the trade show, under the Regencycore theme, the Chlorosphère agency and partners such as the nurseries "Silence, ça pousse !" will showcase climbing plants on Cerland structures, creating elegant vertical compositions.

The influence of Bridgerton extends far beyond its success, popularizing the Regencycore style in fashion, interior design, tableware, and gardening. The series’ English gardens and classic elegance have captivated a broad audience, fueling a fascination for a refined lifestyle. For example, searches for "garden greenhouses" have increased by over 850,000, and Regency-style outdoor furniture as well as fringed parasols have surged to the top of Amazon’s bestsellers.

In terms of vegetation, wisteria, shade-loving perennials, and large-growing plants (such as astilbes, foxgloves, and delphiniums) are particularly sought after. This trend is also accompanied by a color palette of cream, off-white, and beige, gradually replacing anthracite in outdoor landscaping.
Garden Collections Awards Area
