JdC Garden Trends 2025 Press Release
The JdC Garden Trends 2025 show: the unmissable gardening event in Marseille.
From March 25 to 27, 2025 , Parc Chanot in Marseille will be transformed into a true crossroads of innovation and trends for the world of gardening. On the occasion of the JdC Garden
Trends, 380 exhibitors , half of whom come from more than 20 countries, and 1,200 buyers from French mass distribution will converge for an exceptional meeting.
A CHANGING SECTOR IN SEARCH OF BALANCE
Organized by Infopro Digital, the JdC Garden Trends show has established itself as a major event for garden and outdoor design professionals. This 21st edition will showcase
honor the latest innovations, segmented into 5 main areas : Gardening & Cultivating, Planning & Building, Outdoor Living, Home & Leisure, Services for retail.
A new segment is part of a dynamic focused on
the future: that of start-ups, which develop solutions intended to support consumers in a
more responsible consumption, a more informed choice and better management of their resources. Awareness of better consumption is now well established, but doubts persist, particularly due to a crisis of confidence in certain brands accused of
greenwashing. Current trends are based on 4 drivers:
health, local, ecology and ethics.

Environmental issues have been redefining gardening practices for a decade . The ban on plant protection products and the search for sustainable alternatives, such as waterless or soilless cultivation, raise complex questions: yield, consistent quality, economic accessibility.
The JdC Garden Trends 2025 exhibition aims to be a platform for exploring these challenges. Exhibitors will present concrete solutions such as:
- Eco-designed products and responsible innovations, - Materials promoting responsible resource management,
- New modes of consumption such as equipment rental for example.
The emergence of concepts such as tiny houses also responds to a growing trend of de-consumption.
THE IMPACT OF THE CSRD ON THE SECTOR
Since January 1, 2025, European regulations require companies to publish sustainability reports that comply with the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive). This new transparency is part of a desire to restore the trust of consumers who are often wary of greenwashing practices. Brands exhibiting at
JdC Garden Trends 2025 will not fail to highlight their environmental and social performances through their innovations.

Gardening and contemporary challenges
The gardening sector has undergone a profound transformation over the past decade. The ban on plant protection products has catalyzed the emergence of innovative practices : chemical-free cultivation, water-saving systems, and even soil-free cultivation solutions. However, the limits of "all organic" raise crucial questions regarding yields and waste management.
At the same time, a new consumption model is emerging. “ De -consumption” is gaining ground, driven by concepts such as tiny gardens and seasonal equipment rental. This trend responds to the aspirations of consumers looking for more responsible and economical solutions.
